  • Digital collages

A3 prints are available for purchase.

These digital collages were initially made for my project “Stuffed” but later in the process turned into their own project. These pieces are an almost direct translation from my visual world/language. They are made with its guidelines and ethos in mind. In some their origins are clearly visible in others they are super distorted, from a peeled grape to  a french pastry. They are gooey, juicy, puffy, spikey and so much more. All imagery is original and taken myself.

The two collages above are made for Blend radio, a radio collective with themes around tea and tea drinking.

  • (I saw the sound) poster design

This is a poster campaign made during a graphic design workshop week in 2021 at Rietveld. The idea was that everyone made a black & white poster for the event. This poster would then be divided into parts and redistributed to the class to color in. Below is my black & white design

The typefaces were made with pen and paper, specially for this poster.

Below on the left are all the pieces I received from the other students. I put them together as a big poster and made a bigger design on top of them (on the right). These pieces were later handed out to be reassembled into their original posters.

    postcard 1

When I was younger I made a rule to always buy a postcard whenever I went to a museum or exhibition, didn’t matter if that was from the current exhibition or a work I saw or just a beautiful card. This resulted in a huge collection of cards. I saw them as small art works, a little copy of the original. When in Copenhagen at Kunsthal Charlottenburg I found a card that said Greetings from Antartica, which made me laugh.

At the same time I was given a big part of my grandfathers postcard collection. In his younger years he was a big collector of them even dealing in rare cards worth surprisingly a lot. Some of these cards also features greetings of some sorts.

Together this resulted in the idea of Greetings from…, a platform in which greetings can be given from many different places through the format of postcards.
